Today, presidential candidate Congressman Dean Phillips voted against both the impeachment measures brought against President Biden as well as the House GOP Israel Funding Bill.

“These two bills represent grotesque political plays by Speaker Johnson that only work to serve Donald Trump over the interests of the American people,” said Rep. Dean Phillips. “We must end this partisan nonsense, and take a bipartisan approach, like the one attempted in the Senate, that would promote the interests of our nation and our citizens by supporting our allies.”

Rep. Phillips and his campaign for president are focused on promoting policies and positions driven by listening to the American people and a commitment to unifying our society in the face of unprecedented division. 

The US government needs to be laser-focused on addressing the critical costs and chaos issues that are transforming our society and world for the worse, and that means rejecting legislation and actions that only further sew division and discontent in our nation and abroad.
